At The Source, every order is carefully sourced through our trusted boutique network in Europe and the United States. Many of the pieces we offer are rare, limited, highly requested, or sourced specifically for each client after purchase.

We are committed to offering a transparent and elevated shopping experience from the moment your order is placed until it arrives at your door.

Estimated Delivery

Our delivery timeline depends on the item’s boutique availability, sourcing location, authentication and quality control process, and final shipping destination.

Estimated delivery is usually:

Europe: 5–10 business days
United States: 10–15 business days
Latin America: 15–20 business days

Please note that these timelines are estimates and may vary due to boutique processing, customs clearance, international shipping delays, holidays, or events outside our control.

For rare or hard-to-source items, delivery may take longer. In these cases, our team will keep you updated throughout the sourcing process.

Once your order ships, you will receive tracking information whenever available.

Sourced-to-Order Items

Many items sold by The Source are sourced especially for each client after the order is confirmed. This means that once payment has been completed, our team begins securing the item through our boutique network.

Because these items are obtained specifically for your request, cancellations may not be possible once sourcing has begun.

If an item becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will contact you with the available options, which may include:

A suitable replacement
Store credit
A full refund

Returns

We accept return requests only when the item received is defective, incorrect, or materially different from what was described at the time of purchase.

To request a return, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with:

Your order number
Clear photos and videos of the item
Photos of the packaging
A description of the issue

The item must be unused, unworn, unaltered, and returned with all original packaging, tags, dust bags, boxes, authenticity cards, receipts, and accessories included.

Items that show signs of use, wear, damage, perfume, makeup, alteration, or missing packaging may not be eligible for return.

Exchanges

Due to the limited and boutique-sourced nature of our inventory, we generally do not offer traditional exchanges.

However, if you would like to request a different size, color, or model, please contact us as soon as possible. If the original item has not yet been sourced or shipped, we will do our best to assist.

Once an item has been sourced, shipped, or delivered, exchanges are subject to availability and approval by The Source.

Final Sale Items

The following items may be considered final sale:

Rare or limited-edition items
Specially sourced items
Items purchased on request
Items marked as final sale
Items shipped internationally
Items that have been used, worn, altered, or damaged after delivery

Final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are defective, incorrect, or not as described.

Condition & Authenticity

Every item is carefully reviewed before shipping. We only source from trusted boutiques, brand stores, and verified suppliers.

Please note that minor variations in packaging, boutique wrapping, tags, or regional product details may occur depending on the country of purchase and boutique of origin.

Customs, Duties & Taxes

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or local charges depending on the destination country.

These fees are not included in the product price unless explicitly stated and are the responsibility of the client.

Customs delays are outside of our control and may affect estimated delivery timelines.

Lost or Delayed Packages

Once an order has been shipped, delivery times may vary depending on the carrier, customs, and destination country.

If your package is significantly delayed, our team will assist you in opening an inquiry with the shipping carrier.

The Source is not responsible for delays caused by customs, incorrect shipping information provided by the client, failed delivery attempts, or carrier-related issues outside our control.
